Over 300 Scandinavian stations with their exotic fluttery signals were on the air in September&#8217;s SAC CW, with about 1200 total logs submitted. This promises a large and exciting turn-out on all sides of this popular &#8220;Polar Battle&#8221; also on SSB!<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SSB 13 &#8211; 14 October 1200 &#8211; 1200 UTC<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Things To Do:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/rules\/\">Read the rules<\/a> Pay special attention to you choice of Category.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/result\/searchscore.php\">Look for a record to break<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/announce_form\/\">Announce your activity<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/blog\/propagation\/\">Check the propagation forecasts<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Put on the radio and have fun with the Scandinavians!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A reminder from the rules:<\/strong><br \/>The 3.5 \u2013 7 \u2013 14 \u2013 21 \u2013 28 MHz frequency bands may be used according to the IARU HF Band Plan. <br \/><strong>On 3.5 MHz, Region 1 stations must not transmit below 3510 kHz on CW or above 3790 kHz on SSB<\/strong>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s time to warm up for the SSB part in the Scandinavian Activity Contest.
